Bruce has over 40 years of experience in Finance and General Management in both the private and non-profit sectors. He has been responsible for multiple organizational turnarounds, specializing in risk management, finance, and operations. Bruce’s tenure as a nonprofit board member and executive provide him with a unique perspective from which to tackle clients’ strategic and governance challenges.
While with ESC, Bruce’s clients have included Family & Children Services of Greater Lynn and the National Organization for Rare Disorders. Bruce most recently served as President and Board Member of Habitat for Humanity of Fairfield County. He implemented a turnaround that involved professionalizing fund-raising, tapping state and local grants, and restructuring both financial and operating processes and the Board of Directors. Prior to that, Bruce served as the Chief Operating Officer (Directeur Général) and Board Member of Dalet SA, a publicly traded French software company. He was responsible for instituting the operating processes and financial controls that contributed to turning around the company.
Bruce began his career at J.P. Morgan & Co. where his 25-year career spanned Corporate Finance, Risk Management, Control, and Banking, in New York and Paris. His volunteer interests have centered on Housing and Homelessness. He a Trustee and Treasurer of the MacJannet Foundation and a Board Member of the Family and Children’s Services of Greater Lynn. He is also a volunteer consultant with Community Action Partners, Harvard Business School–affiliated, pro-bono provider of strategic advice for not-for-profit organizations.
Bruce earned his MBA at the Harvard Business School and attended Lehigh University where he graduated with honors in Industrial Engineering.
