Ashok Boghani

Consulting on strategic planning & scenario development

Ashok Boghani has over 35 years of experience providing management consulting services to both public and private sector organizations.  He specializes in helping organizations develop multiple scenarios of the future, identifying the best position for the organization in each future scenario, and developing strategies to move the organization to that position from where they are now. Ashok does this through interactive workshops that engage organizational leadership and uses external subject matter experts so the resulting strategy benefits from the insights and experience of multiple parties. As a result, the strategy is more likely to be successfully implemented.

At ESC, Ashok has provided consulting services to nonprofit organizations including the Emerald Necklace Conservancy, Family & Children Services of Greater Lynn, Friends of the Middlesex Fells, METCO, and Greater Marlboro Programs, Inc.

Prior to joining ESC, Ashok worked with the Monitor Group, IntellectExchange, and Arthur D. Little where he was a Vice President responsible for automotive and transportation practice of North America. Ashok has managed and/or contributed to hundreds of assignments over his consulting career.

Ashok earned a doctorate in engineering at MIT and worked for several years in research and development before transitioning to management consulting. An avid photographer and world traveler, Ashok gives occasional “tours” of his travels at the Appalachian Mountain Club and area community centers.

Ashok enjoys applying skills he acquired during his career at management consulting firms to the non-profit sector. “I find it immensely satisfying to help my clients become more efficient and effective at achieving the mission of their organizations,” he says. “Through them, I can achieve my goal of giving back to the society which has done so much for me.”
