As an ESC consultant since 2008 and board member for ESC of Northern New England from 2012 – 2018, Anne Halvorsen has provided strategic planning services for clients such as the NH Drug and Alcohol Counselors Association, Fuller Gardens, Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust, and the Vermont Flight Academy.

Anne is a skilled executive with experience both in franchised businesses and commercial real estate. She was formerly the Senior VP and Director of Fantastic Sams Franchise Corp, a national franchisor of full-service hair salons with approximately 1,400 units nationwide. She also co-founded a business, which held the Fantastic Sams master franchise license for New England and developed salons in this area. Prior to this, Anne was a Senior Investment Officer at John Hancock Mutual Life Insurance Company in the Real Estate Investment Group and was responsible for a national portfolio of office buildings, retail centers, and apartment complexes. Prior to joining John Hancock, Anne held a similar position with UNUM Life in Portland, Maine.

Anne holds a BA in political science and economics from the University of Vermont and received a certificate from the Leadership Institute at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
