“Thinking Beyond the Money,” a seminar designed to connect non-financial considerations and decisions with the financial planning process, will be held at four Boston-area Councils on Aging during the last week of May. These seminars, held in Burlington, Chelmsford, Acton and Framingham, are open to the public and provided by ESC Discovery, a program of Empower Success Corps.
“Thinking Beyond the Money” presents a new definition of “retirement” and a practical model for planning one’s future, midlife and beyond, by identifying six key priorities in a retirement planning pyramid: finding home, security and balance, while keeping fit, staying connected and seeking purpose.
Please call the Council on Aging near you to reserve your place.

Prepare and set realistic goals for transitioning into “retirement.” “Thinking Beyond the Money” offers a practical model for planning your future and a framework that helps to identify and prioritize what’s possible for you in the second half of life. Leave the seminar with new information, worksheets, and checklists, but most importantly, greater clarity and heightened motivation to take the next steps as part of your own “retirement” transition.
