Check out two survey reports based on ESC’s research and analysis on the Organizational Needs of Nonprofits in New Hampshire and the Needs and Motivations of Skilled Volunteers.
ESC surveyed nearly 350 staff, board members and volunteers from nonprofits throughout New Hampshire. NH NPOs expressed needs to improve fundraising, strategic planning, board development and marketing. NH NPOs are generally open to using consultants, in-person training and coaches and to collaborating with other nonprofits.
Skilled volunteers are eager to help organizations with missions that align with the volunteer’s priorities. There is significant untapped volunteer capacity in NH. This report gives recommendations that will help NPOs recruit volunteers to help with their missions.
