It’s been a little over a year since Empower Success Corps acquired Executive Services Corps of Northern New England (ESC NNE). Uniting the two organizations has strengthened the services ESC brings to nonprofits throughout New England. Northern New England is flourishing with projects from Vermont to New Hampshire to Maine. The majority of our engagements are in New Hampshire but we continue to expand our work in Vermont and Maine.
ESC NNE Clients — Diverse Sectors and Geography
ESC NNE clients represent a variety of nonprofit sectors and locations: from GALA Community Makerspace and Innovation Hub in Wolfeboro, NH; to the Black Heritage Trail of NH in Portsmouth, NH; Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust in New London, NH; Bridgton Historical Society in Bridgton, ME; and the Windham County Sheriff’s Office in Windham, VT. We’ve provided solutions to these clients in the areas of strategic planning, marketing plans, market studies, HR, and business planning.
New Consultants – Recruit your Friends!
We’re always searching for great consultants and have welcomed eight new volunteers to the NNE roster:
|· Niraj Agarwal||· Judie Post|
|· Rebecca Hutchinson||· Bob Harris|
|· Dan Gerson||· Erika Hoffman-Kiess|
|· Dan Waintroob||· Alan Metvia|
The best source of new consultants has always been word of mouth and references from existing ESC consultants so let Lynn or Miles know if you have associates who you might recommend (see our refer a friend page).
Partnerships to Extend our Reach
ESC has developed relationships with the NH Center for Nonprofits, the NH Charitable Foundation (NHCF), and the NH Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA). We are members of NH Center and, as a result, any ESC consultant or staff member is also a member. You can get a login for their site Nonprofit Next which provides a huge amount of resources as well as get member discounts on any of their conferences or programs. Please email Lynn Post for how to get a login. If you would like to join Miles Robinson and Lynn Post, ESC Northern New England Director, at the Nonprofit Leadership Summit on September 19 in Concord, NH, to learn about the NH nonprofit environment and help spread the word about ESC, please create a login and then register online.
ESC helps nonprofits produce plans needed by funders such as NHCF and the NH CDFA. ESC provides capacity building plans that both help nonprofits apply for funding and make best use of these funds.
ESC Consulting Force – Strength in Numbers
One of the true benefits to the acquisition is that we have a deeper bench of consultants throughout New England. We’ve been sharing consultants “across the border” with NH consultants working in MA; MA consultants working in NH; and even a RI consultant working on a project in VT.
