Dr. Boghani has worked extensively in the field of consulting, first at Arthur D. Little and lately at the Monitor Group from where he retired at the end of 2012.  After getting his doctorate in engineering at MIT, and working several years in R&D, Dr. Boghani transitioned to providing management consulting services to both public and private sector organizations.  His specialty is helping companies develop multiple scenarios of the future, identifying the best position for the organization in each future scenario, and developing strategies to get there from where they are now. He does this through interactive workshops that engage the management of the organization as well as external subject matter experts, if needed. This way, the strategy benefits from the insights and experience of multiple parties, and has a good chance of being implemented because those responsible for doing that would be involved in its development.  Dr. Boghani currently advises start-ups, both non-profit and for profit, and is actively involved with TiE, an organization devoted to fostering entrepreneurship. He is a Charter Member Emeritus of the Boston chapter of TiE and currently serves on its board.
