ESC and ESC Unite! To Better Serve New England’s Nonprofits

Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust ESC NH Client

ESC Client: Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust Staff in New London, NH

Executive Service Corps of Northern New England has united with Empower Success Corps of Boston. The new Empower Success Corps will increase efficiencies, expand services, and better serve the nonprofits that help our communities.

Providing Expertise to Help Nonprofits Succeed
The Empower Success Corps NNE Office, formerly ESC of NNE, provides services such as strategic planning, fundraising, board development, business plans, and marketing. ESC NNE consultants have served large and small nonprofits in New Hampshire such as Seacoast Science Center, McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center, Visiting Nurse and Hospice for VT and NH, Monadnock Conservancy, Liberty House, Ausbon Sargent Land Conservation Trust, and more.

Debbie Stanley, Executive Director of Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust, and a long-time client stated,

“As a satisfied client since 2004, Ausbon Sargent Land Preservation Trust has engaged ESC of NNE for strategic planning, a market study, compensation review, and a donor support plan – all to help us protect more land. We are excited about ESC partnering with Empower Success Corps as it will strengthen their pool of consultants. We look forward to engaging their services for our next Market Study later this year.”

Offering Northern New England Experience – Plus New Services and Resources!

Our 25 NNE volunteer consultants will continue to focus on the needs of New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont but will also draw upon the resources of 150 Empower Success Corps consultants when special expertise is needed.

Additionally, Empower Success Corps brings new programs for nonprofit organizations, leaders and those seeking encore careers:

  • ESC Fellowships – Transitional management support from experienced professionals for critical initiatives within a nonprofit
  • ESC Discovery – Programs and resources to help individuals explore options as they approach retirement and ask, “What’s Next?
  • ESC Institute – Workshops on a range of topics, and personalized leadership training, mentoring and coaching

ESC NNE Leadership – Drawn from New Hampshire

Lynn Post, an ESC consultant since 2009, former vice-chair of the ESC NNE board and a resident of NH for 39 years, is serving as Director of the Empower Success Corps NNE Office. Maggie Ford and David Ellis, formerly of the ESC of NNE board, have been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of Empower Success Corps. Lynn Post stated,

“Nonprofits in New Hampshire will benefit from expanded services, more consulting resources, and the support of a large, vibrant organization with a shared mission. New Hampshire consultants will continue to serve New Hampshire clients but also gain expanded project and training opportunities. We expect the transition to be relatively seamless.”

Welcome to Empower Success Corps!

Julie Crockford, Executive Director of Empower Success Corps, and her team are working diligently to unite these organizations and ensure a smooth transition. They are excited about bringing new programs and resources to the New Hampshire nonprofits. Julie stated, “This acquisition is an exciting opportunity for growth for both organizations. As a result, we will be able to pool resources, expand services, and help nonprofits across all of New England operate more effectively to meet the needs of their communities.”
